Your First Visit
Our goal is to relieve our patients symptoms as quickly and as effectively as possible starting with the very first visit. It is easiest to accomplish this if you are prepared, so below, we've listed what you can expect for your first visit.
General Information
- The first exam typically lasts for one hour.
- We do not bill insurance, but we can give you an itemized receipt for submission.
- We do accept Medicare, but Medicare will not cover your first visit.
- In almost every case, treatment will be received on the first visit.
- A new patient exam is $101.
Forms
There are 4 forms that are necessary before treatment. You can pick them up form our office at anytime before your visit, print them from the chiropractic from section "New Patient Packet", or fill them out in our office no less than 10 minutes before your appointment time. The New Patient Packet consists of a patient information form with requesting General Information on the front and Medical History on the back, a Pain chart in which you will indicate on the drawing where and what type of pain you are experiencing, a consent form that gives Dr. Dunnagan permission to treat you, and a Financial Policy.

The Exam
Upon receiving your forms, a member of our staff will take your height, weight, and blood pressure, then escort you to one of our exam rooms. Dr. Dunnagan will join you in the room shortly after this. You and Dr. D will talk about your concerns, symptoms, health-related problems, health goals, and possible treatment options. Next, the doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. Together, you and the doctor will determine the best solution for your condition.
